8400 is a minimium for vdpau

Where is the information source that confirms 9400's cannot do 2x HW?

I've set mine to 2x HW and they play TV3 fine.  They run 85 degrees on passive air, expect fan to be lower and water is <= 45 
degrees.  No deterioration in image that I can see.
