Attached is the submission made by Taplow Parish Council to the Consultation
on the new Local Plan. It is submitted in the name of the Parish Council but
as you know the Society made a major contribution.

Good day to you. We have an unusual request: 

 

We are an American senior couple, looking for someone to spend a day with us
as we visit England. Ideally this someone might be a retired couple (or not)
who could pick us up at our hotel Royal HorseGuard on either Monday
September 23, or Tuesday September 24 in the morning and return us that same
evening. We would love to share our American experiences with them and also
learn about English traditions and experiences and more about Taplow and the
area.  We would love to see some sights, especially Cliveden, or whatever
works for just one day.  We will spend another day sightseeing in London on
our own. We only have 3 days in London before we depart on a Windstar cruise
from Portsmouth on September 25.  We will cover all expenses including two
meals with a gratuity.  Do you know of anyone? Please feel free to forward
this request.  We will gladly provide more information and answer any
questions about ourselves if you are interested. Please have them contact us
