Saturday October 10th 14:30 from Village Centre

Sponsored Walk around Hitcham and Taplow.

 

I'm a member of St Nicolas' School PTA and we've organised a Sponsored Walk
around Hitcham and Taplow, including  Old Priory Gardens.

It's next weekend on Saturday October 10th and starts at 14:30 from the
Village Centre. It's just short of 3 miles distance.

Please find attached the poster, entry and sponsor forms as a .pdf. I
thought it would be useful  for you to know it was happening.as we often
forget to include everyone (sorry!). 

Please feel free to come and join us! 

 

Half the proceeds of the sponsorship will be donated to the Church Roof
Fund, and half to the School.

Friday 23rd October 7:30pm Reading Room Village Hall

Briefing on Heathrow Airport 3rd runway plans.

 

Presenters: Tony Caccavone, Programme lead for the Heathrow expansion
project. He will be accompanied by Cheryl Monk, Head of Community Relations
& Policy and/or Rick Norman, Head of Noise Policy.  

The presentation (about 25 minutes) will cover:

- Overview of the Airports Commission recommendation from 1 July - Next
steps - How Heathrow will manage key environmental impacts (flight paths,
air   quality, surface access etc).  

Q&A: Opportunity for Taplow residents to ask questions
