Given the sensitivity of the contents, and the circumstances, it seems 
most unlikely that the drive would ever be heard of again. You would 
require the tracing services of Telecom (at least) to locate the 
expropriator, if they were ever dumb enough to run the drive's installed 
O/S. These last two factors are no more likely to happen than the first, 
IMHO.
