Hi Mark,

Octopart is a good way to see who has the part you want and at what
price.
Example:
https://octopart.com/search?q=MDCOG240128B6W-FPTLW&currency=USD&specs=0

As for using Chinese/UK suppliers. So long as you know what you want
they are as good as Digikey, but they don't guarantee that the stock
is there next time you want to order. When dealing with UK suppliers, it
can take a little time to convince them to transact (IMO).
Chinese suppliers just need a credit card, quite good!

To date no quality issues experienced with any components used in our
embedded product manufacture, shipped throughout NZ, Aust and Europe.

Cheers
Grant
