I'll second Elf...

And even if you don't wind up using them it's worth visiting.  The 
owner, Elf (Alf?) is a most excellent gentleman, in the old fashioned 
meaning of the word.

He's a good friend of a friend of mine who I've met a couple of times at 
New Years parties, many many years ago.  I would call him my friend but 
wouldn't be so presumptuous.
