Hi Mark,
tldr ; Need to upgrade to mythtv v32 or later.
I had the same issue of no / failed recording on the tv3 / Discovery /
Sky-Free-this-week mux. I was also running mythtv v31.
After going through similar diagnostics (with hvr2200 and hdhr), it
seemed apparent that something has changed on that one mux which mythtv
did not like.
Upgraded to v32 (and beyond since) and all was right again on that mux.
I had been deferring the prerequisite OS upgrade (and some unpicking of
other things) needed on the backend host to run v32 and beyond, so this
at least provided the impetus to get that done.
