[mythtvnz] DVB-T radio not working since 17/JAN

Since Sunday morning (17/JAN) I cannot listen to the DVB-T radio 
stations (livetv or recorded), the stations/programs "tune in" okay, but 
no sound comes from the speakers.  Was working well previously (Saturday 
and before).   (TV still works fine, live and recorded).

I can listen to audio recordings by clicking on the asx link in mythweb 
and opening in VLC, so the backend is still doing its job.  Presuming 
something has happened in the frontend....  (excerpt from frontend log 
below)

There were mythtv updates from avenard.org yesterday and again this 
morning, plus some Ubuntu updates both days (can't remember which ones 
now). 

Any ideas?  Stumped here.
