[mythtvnz] Settings comparer

Hi all,

This is an idea I've had for a while now.  With so many issues with 
getting everything going etc wouldn't it be nice if we could compare 
settings with each other?  If we had a script which could extract the 
setting information from our Myth boxes and perhaps config files we 
might be able to figure out what settings are optimal and help us 
newbies out.  Obviously you'd have to write it to exclude private 
information but it shouldn't be that hard to do as it looks like most of 
the settings are in one table in MythTv.  Even better then we could 
database different system configurations and find out what works and 
what doesn't etc.

I don't know maybe I'm dreaming...
