Hi folks,
Having proved the viability of mythtv it was time to replace my borrowed
SkyStar-2 with my own DVB-S card.
I purchased a Technotrend S-1401 from the good people at nicegear.co.nz
It arrived, and I promptly removed the working Skystar 2 and put the S-1401
in its place, same cabling LNB etc.
The Technotrend is being detected:
$ lspci -vvv

Here is my kernel.
$ uname -a
Linux ubuntu2 2.6.28-14-generic #47-Ubuntu SMP Sat Jul 25 00:28:35 UTC 2009

Does anyone have any suggestions on my next step?
Thanks,
Stuart.
