300G JFS formatted disk for recordings
800G (4x200G) in a RAID5 yielding 600G with LVM2 on it to give 160G for
Videos, 80G photos etc etc
100G (2x50G) in a RAID1 for the OS

Mixture of PATA and SATA (my 5 year old m/b has 2 SATA ports!!) with an
old Promise TX2 card for the extra PATA and the DVD drive. Plus a 120G USB
external drive for backups...

This is the backend/server box - the frontends are diskless :-)
