Hello everyone,

Good turnout with 20 attendees, and lots of huddles-of tech-talk. $30 +
change (in gold, and flat-money) collected and transferred into the
robotics loose-change jar (for later banking).

Quick reminder: equipment donations are welcome for the trading table,
but no CRT based product, printers, toner or items that are likely to be
a disposal burden. All sales from the trading table should go into the
brown box on the wall, and are directly for the benefit of our host
club, NZART Branch 05.

With thanks on behalf of the group,

Mark Atherton

Russell gave a talk about making home-made PCBs as well as part of his
life working in off-shore avionics.

Andy brought in the amazing-capacitor-bank from a disassembled VFD.

William brought in and talked about his ‘Trailer wiring tester’ as well
as his ‘LPG cylinder change over’ projects.

Bevin continued his wonderful talk about Compiler Construction. This
month: Instruction Selection, and Code Generation.

Andy talked about his custom-card-cutting-machine, and associated output.

Peter Harris brought in his entry for the ‘worlds smallest stick
welder’; he described alternant uses, and his progress.

Robin came in and entertained the group with his latest offering to
Laser-Strike, and associated development group. What followed was a very
interesting job-pitch.
