Hello everyone,

Excellent turnout with 22 attendees, and lots of huddles-of tech-talk.
$46 + change (in gold, and flat-money) collected and transferred into
the robotics loose-change jar (for later banking).

Quick reminder: equipment donations are welcome for the trading table,
but no CRT based product, printers, toner or items that are likely to be
a disposal burden. All sales from the trading table should go into the
brown box on the wall, and are directly for the benefit of our host
club, NZART Branch 05.

With thanks on behalf of the group,

Mark Atherton

============

William turned up with his home-made 8-bit machine, complete with PS2
keyboard, working printer, and an early prototype of his graphics card.

Darren talked about some low-cost electric-scooter interface cards, and
the adventure of reverse engineering the unit.

Bevin turned up with part of his mechanical calculator collection. He
talked in detail about some of the associated computational mechanisms.

Volker brought in some ‘Chinese appliances’, along with suitable
satirical commentary. Products under scrutiny included an ultrasonic
cleaner, and a 24V soldering iron.

Andrew E brought some 3D printer items associated with Paul’s flight
simulator in Oxford. Quite some effort has gone into this project.

Peter H brought in his latest power monitor system and explained some of
the associated trials and tribulations.

Graham gave us and update on his spark-eroder project. Significant
progress has been made with this project.
