[chbot] batteries : dangerous goods

Several months ago I heard of a new levy for the transportation of Lithium batteries.

Most surprised that this applies to 3V CR2025 and associated types; can't imagine that they have a very high energy density (?)

Just ordered a replacement battery for our Dyson, and was charged an extra $8.50 to cover shipping of this 'hazardous product'.

Anyone have similar experiences - and suggestions about low-cost-carriers who might handle these-new-hazrads
