I don't know of any backend that would run on a backend, nor do I think it
would be an okay solution even if it existed.
There's no storage, no extension (adding dvb card and so on)

I find the entire concept of attempting to install a backend in a device
such as an apple tv to be a waste of time that even if successful would be
mediocre at best.
