This isn't for MythTV Recordings but for other data. I was asking here as
I thought I'd seen the answer previously on the list and now I can't find
it in the archive.

mhddfs is possibly good enough.

I'm trying to avoid extending LVM over multiple raid sets in case of a
double failure.
