[mythtvnz] Weird Logs resulting from Choice TV

So I have finally bought my system up-to-date-ish

Now running:
	Mythbuntu 11.10

	MythTV Version   : v0.24.2-30-ge9a0ecb
	MythTV Branch    : fixes/0.24
	Network Protocol : 63
	Library API      : 0.24.20110505-1
	QT Version       : 4.7.4

FrontEnd:
	Atom ION2 platform (Shuttle XS35GT V2) 4GB RAM

I no longer have to transcode every recoding so I could replay on my old
retired hardware :-)

However I have now noticed an oddity in the captured streams for
programmes from the Choice Channel.

During playback on the front end AND commflagging on the backend an
enormous number of log messages are being generated (in the order of 50
messages per second).

Front-End Sample message:
=========================
2012-11-19 23:33:49.972 [h264_vdpau @ 0xb4c56b40]non-existing SPS 1
referenced in buffering period

Back-End Sample message:
========================
2012-11-11 00:33:43.821 [h264 @ 0x139fb40]non-existing SPS 1 referenced
in buffering period

These messages as far as I can tell only happen on Choice programmes and
occur on all Choice programmes I have recorded.

On Playback the AV sync of these programmes drifts backwards and
forwards and there are other messages that document this:

Has anyone esle noticed this issue?

I am currently using default logging settings.

I am looking to find a way of filtering these specific messages
(non-existing SPS) to /dev/null so the logs don't fill up so fast ...
any suggestions?

Tony
