I have a Hauppauge Nova-T 500 Dual DVB-T installed in a P4 3 GHz pc

These seem to be relevant lines from the dmesg log:

[    9.132350] dvb-usb: found a 'Hauppauge Nova-T 500 Dual DVB-T' in cold
state, will try to load a firmware

initialized and connected.
[   11.260799] usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_dib0700

The only modprobe option I have is:
options dvb_usb_dib0700 force_lna_activation=1

The card runs really well.  I have line-of-sight to Mt Kau Kau and I use
unamplified rabbit ears.  Signal levels are generally reported in 50% to 60%
range but I have no troubles locking on to any of the multiplexers.

The only issue I have in my setup is that the card will not activate correctly
with a warm boot.  I have to do a cold boot to make it work.

Have you run scan to aid with your diagnostic process?

Tony
