Sorry no real suggestion, but I did a from scratch install of Mythbuntu 
10.04 a few weeks ago and I'm using 2 Technisat SkyStar2 with out any 
issues, so I think that bug shouldn't be an issue any more.

Maybe you could try physically switching the cards the PCI slots those 2 
cards are in?
