Huge difference between AC3 TV3 and 2 ch (TVNZ). Plus you have to adjust 
the AV sync if you switch from AC3 to 2ch audio.
My Pioneer is getting a bit old, but I wouldn't call it bad.  There is a 
15 dB level difference between myth and my other sources.
Some extra gain would be great.
