[mythtvnz] NOVA -T 500 only 1 tuner in LiveTV

Hi Simon,

My system seems to be working fine now. I did have the problem but a combination of deleting all and re-adding the capture cards, then using the pop up menu to change tuner has got me to a working system.

See specific answers to you questions below - pretty much the same as others who have replied.

Cheers

Steve

One source.

2) Did you do a channel scan for each capture card in the first 'input
connections' screen

Yes I did.

2) What are the values for the input group 1 and input group 2 for
each of your cards?

for first DVB tuner it is DVB0 in both group 1 and group 2, for second tuner it is DVB1 in both group 1 and group 2. Originally it was generic for both group 2 settings. I don't understand what this feature does, so not sure if changing from the default generic in group 2 will affect some other feature.

I expect that I should be able to watch one channel while recording
another. At the moment, if there is an recording running, I cannot
watch a different channel at the same time.

I'm having the same problem with my nova-t-500 card too. Doesn't help
that the first two Google results for this problem is this thread :o

Can someone who has both nova-t-500 tuners working, let me know:
1) In the video sources section, do you have one video source or two?
