[mythtvnz] applying patches in fedora

Hi all



I have been watching the list a lot recently with particular focus on
Pauls patches. I am a bit puzzled about how to apply the patches to a
non debian based distro as all I get when I try to patch is a debian
folder containing various mythtv related files. 



Any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
