We have hardware questions on the list from time to time and a lot of
them boil down to..
"Whats the recommended hardware for....."

Is it worth spending some time working out the MythTV-NZ recommended
machine (or set of machines) so that we can get Steven to put the list
up on the web and point people to it?

We could change it when new things come out, but it would serve to be a
good baseline. I think we should look at recommending for 3 systems.

1) All in one machine to do composite out, SD, and DVB-S
2) Cut-down, small form factor, quiet frontend only
3) Hell machine to do HD (the stuff which will currently play anyway)
out of HDMI and take DVB-S and DVB-T input

Let the suggestions commence......
