[mythtvnz] X works, but Myth does not.

Okay, so I got my shiny new HDMI mobo going. For certain values of going.

X loads up fine, everything displays as it should, right up until
mythfrontend or mythtv-setup tries to load, at which stage the screen looks
like one of the old commodore64 epilepsy screens. Everything else looks
great, myth don't display right.

I'm using a HDMI cable to run to the plasma screen, which has a native res
of 1368x768. xorg.conf is setup correctly --

         ModeLine "1360x768" 84.5 1360 1392 1712 1744 768 783 791 807
         SubSection "Display"
                 Depth 24
                 Modes "1360x768" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
         EndSubSection
         DefaultDepth 24
         SubSection "Display"
                 Viewport 0 0
                 Depth 24
         EndSubSection
(selective trimming used.)

Mythfrontend throws up the following:

xorg.conf does have modelines for 1920x1080 (how do they come up with such
random numbers for resolutions?), but they aren't listed in the Display
subsections at all, nor are they listed under default depths.

Should I comment out every modeline except for 1360x768, or is there
something I am missing?
