Re The only reason to have analogue, IMHO, is for Prime or for recording
out the back of a Sky STB.

Another reason to me is depixillation - through adverse weather conditions, some particular viewing experiences are highly desired 
in real time, even if it has to be at analogue quality, I would prefer to get them!  Yes it happens, maybe this is mainly a 
Wellington problem?
