The EIT data isn't their "official" EPG, the MHEG one is.

Also the "official" STBs are setup to auto find the freeview channels
based on their NIT and BAT information without needed to rescan. Other
STBs including MythTV will have to rescan each time channels are added or
removed.

Also the freeview EIT data does have description information, but it migh=
t
differ from Sky's.
