Hi again

I found that the mythtv components had not been upgraded to fc5 
versions, so I did that this morning. Started the system up again and 
still the same front end can not contact the backend. Changed the wait 
to retry from 0 to 5 seconds and got the following output

It seems to me that the backend is not setting up the socket or 
listening somewhere else, I am running the backend in another terminal, 
and it is slowly ticking over running sql statements.

Any suggestions gratefully appreciated as others in the family are 
starting to get vocal.
