I'm using our "home server" as our MythTV backend. It is our Samba file
server, NFS server for 2-3 diskless frontends (Linux gaming workstation
for the kids plus minimyth under the TV), as well as our mail
(spamassassin plus 3 AV) server and Web server.

All on a 2.6GHz Centrino. It's only when MythTV is recording that the
CPU gets hit. I think you'll be fine :-)
