It'd be worth looking into whether satellite Freeview is possible -- lots
of people have unused Sky dishes that can pick it up. Better quality, plus
a electronic program guide that doesnt rely on an internet connection.
DVB-S. Technisat Skystar 2 cards are the best for this.

The PVR-150 has ALL the features that you need -- the only thing the 350
has that the 150 doesnt is a TV Out, and you're not using the 350's tv out.
It also costs less.

Motherboard sound is typically more than adequate.

Get something relatively old, and thus well supported under linux.

Silverstone make excellent HTPC cases.
