Thanks, Craig. That certainly seems to be the case with the FRONTEND DEVICE
error, but... I still don't know why I'm not getting a signal from the TVNZ
transponder.

# dvbtune -f 1156000 -s 22500 -p h -m 2> /dev/null &

followed by:

# dvbscan -c -u

lists TV3, C4, a couple of Radio NZ so I seem to have a old (standard?) LNB.

However, if I do a:

# dvbtune -f 1183000 -s 22500 -p h -m 2> /dev/null &

followed by:

# dvbscan -c -u

I get:

using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
main:2263: FATAL: failed to open '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0': 16 Device or
resource busy

I get the same if I pass -f 1733000 to dvbtune (which should be what I'd need
with a newer LNB).

Any ideas?

Thanks
Bob
