Owing to the late, and particularly disappointing, withdrawal by Jessops =
we have had to put forward an alternative evening.
I am very pleased to advise that John Saunders is busily preparing a =
talk to members on medium format photography for Tuesday 27.
This wil include a talk about the merits of various cameras, backs, =
formats etc that are all choices facing the dedicated medium format =
user. It will also include a chance to see prints from m/f slides, and a =
chance to see some of John's own work projected on to the big screen =
with a m/f projector.
There will be chance to see the gear, and touch it, within reason.
It will be an interactive discussion, so if you have comments to add to =
the debate, these will be encouraged. Equally, if you are a current m/f =
user, you would be warmly encouraged to offer your own experiences.
Due to the onset of digital technology, m/f is becoming more affordable =
and in reach to the ordinary photographer.
Come along on tuesday to find out if it suitable for you.
On an entirely separate note, john has found two 35mm projectors he =
wishes to sell, speak to john direct about this.
Finally, special mention to Ed Doughty and Andy Page for their web =
