Changes to Computing in the School ICT curriculum

Phil Bagge, Hampshire Inspection and Advisory Service

Thursday 28 April 2016, 19.00 for 19.30

The revisions to the school ICT curriculum represent the greatest change to the national
curriculum since it was first introduced.

This talks examines the reasons for change and how schools are adapting their curriculums to
include computational thinking, programming and understanding how technology works.

Phil Bagge was involved at the drafting stage in creating and refining the new Computing
Curriculum and currently teaches computing science in three Hampshire Schools.

This event is free of charge and open to all, with refreshments at 19.00, lecture at 19:30.
