Inside the mind of a Femtocell
Andy Morris, Picochip
A technology primer aimed at engineers and managers that will chart
the rise of Femtocells, understand future trends and address the
system-wide challenges in designing and rolling out this exciting new
infrastructure.
As a truly diverse engineering platform we will gain an appreciation
of network connectivity and protocol stacks through to the hardware
subsystem and radio interface.
We will conclude by exploring the end user experience, shedding light
on the equipment you could receive, explaining what happens when the
Femtocell first powers up and how "all you can eat data" becomes a
reality. Questions at the ready!
This event is free of charge and open to all, with refreshments at
19.00.
