Tom Shannon hopes to take you on a short but highly visual journey
into the world of blockbuster movies populated by amazing creatures,
animated characters and imaginary environments. He will briefly
describe the techniques used in both motion capture and image
augmentation and show you how the same techniques are used equally to
benefit thousands of disabled children each year and in the
acquisition and interpretation of geospatial data.

If you want to know more, come along. All are welcome and no ticket
