RBWM is holding consultations on its plans for sustainability and climate
change. Details below if you might wish to contribute. (One day notice for
the first session does not sound like committed community involvement).

Roger Worthington, Secretary HTS

Sustainability Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) Public Consultation

I am writing to remind you that you are invited to help finalise a critical
planning document, designed to ensure sustainability and tackling climate
change are fully considered in the Royal Borough's future growth and
development.

The Council's draft Sustainability SPD is one of the key actions identified
in the Environment and Climate Strategy 2020-2025 and is required to help
shape development in the direction of net zero carbon, protect and enhance
the natural environment, drive carbon reductions in the borough and deliver
wider climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The Council has now produced, for public consultation, a draft SPD document.
This is a 6 week public consultation that will end on midnight Monday 27th
November 2023.

To get involved and find out more, you can attend one of the following
