Many thanks to you all for your help at the VGP this year. I think you’ll agree that it was all really worthwhile. 

Special thanks to:
  a.. Miv for his press-gang rota sorting and general all-round support 
  b.. Roger for his ticket organising and general behind the scene sorting 
  c.. Peter, Louise and Myra for sales and membership gathering 
  d.. Tim Browning for the ticket design 
  e.. Jane and Andrew for the Ox roast setting up 
  f.. Mike and Cliff for the the BBQ’s and wood 
  g.. Sarah for sorting all the meats (please pass on our compliments to Phil, the butcher, for a terrific piece of beef) and the condiments 
  h.. And finally, Euan for leaving an amazing legacy of a brilliantly organised Party. Your spreadsheet was so comprehensive it was like ‘painting by numbers’. Thank you for your support and the many years that you have run the VGP.

  Your village needs you!

  The Village Green Party is on 21st June. It’s going to be a glorious evening. 

  Can i count on your support this year in helping to put the ‘gig’ together on the saturday Morning and then taking it all down again on Sunday?

  I need at least 6 people on each morning for approximately 2 to 3 hours. The more we have the better in terms of turning it round quickly.

  Starting at 9am on the Saturday and 10am on the Sunday. If you can do both days even better.

  And while i’ve got you does anyone have one of those long poles that holds up a washing line or something similar (long, thick bamboo cane etc)? The reason i ask is that the tree on the green that used to support the electrical cable has been cut down.

  Marc B, would you be able to supply a long step ladder for electrical purposes please?

  And please pass this email on to anybody i’ve missed off.
