The owner of the farm at the corner of Marsh Lane and the Bath Road has
applied for planning permission to build three massive chicken sheds on the
field opposite to the Traffic Police Station on the corner of the A4 and
Station Road .
The attachment shows how the sheds would look. It is one of the documents
submitted with the Planning Application..
The Application number is 13/00416/FUL, Full details are on the South Bucks
website.

The Taplow Parish Council and the Hitcham and Taplow Society committee are
opposing the Application. The sheds will be highly visible from the
surrounding areas and they will be a serious infringment of the Green Belt.
Several points have been made in objections made by local residents - noise,
odour and light pollution : number of daily traffic movements in and out of
the site and the A4/Marsh Lane junction : health hazard from proliferation
of flies and rats and the removal of dead chckens : one of the few remaining
open spaces between Maidenhead and Slough.
The number of written objections received by the South Bucks District
Council determines the granting or the refusal of the Application.
If you think that the Application should be refused you should write to the
Council before 29 April.
It is important that your letter is in your own words. It is the policy of
the Council to ignore letters which are a copy of a letter submitted by an
organisation or another individual..

Chairman, Hitcham and Taplow Society
