Good afternoon,

 

We have been made aware of an energy saving scam which has begun operating
in the District and are warning residents to be extra cautious. We have a
message on the website which has also be sent out via the Thames Valley
Police community messaging service.

 

It isn't clear what the callers are actually trying to sell except that it's
to do with sustainable energy products, this may involve them wanting to go
in to the house to do 'checks'. It is understood that they are cold calling
on the phone and then asking to visit the home.
