if anyone brings DVD blanks, it may be possible.

a volunteer to bring a burner too would guarantee it.

Hmmm.. At Software Freedom Days at this venue we get a range on 
specialists who, between them, usually get through this kind of  / range 
of problem/s.

So, by all means bring this machine along, & we'll see if a Mac 
specialist attends to assist you.
