A feature of most modern PABX is that you can do a hands free 
announcement to authorised phones.

Can you do this with SIP?

Ie.  Can a SIP client be set up to accept 'broadcast' calls from 
specified clients and can this be centrally controlled?

Press the button on my SIP phone and speak "Hey wife, bring me a cup of 
coffee", then hear the response "Hey husband, get it yourself you lazy 
son of a ...." well you get the idea!
