The Canterbury Public Issues Forum has become ground-breaking and 
important in New Zealand terms, in that even the "e-government" section 
<http://www.e.govt.nz>  is watching it now as exemplary community 
engagement, with a significant effect on Canterbury newspapers and local 
body elections in 2007.

The link to this thread rightly belongs on Simon's page, because it is 
all the formal advertising - other than at the University - that we need 
to do to overflow our venue. It is pretty much Free, or please correct 
me otherwise.
