While I may have jumped the gun a little, it seems the news item is 
true and just part of a certain trend that we are aware of and already 
working with. 

Seagate are unlikely to be affected one way or the other. 

Thanks for the HP pointer.  Printers and such hardware lines change 
so fast here with the NZ retailers, that branding seems about the only 
way to reliably track their suitability.
