I just got a ping & traceroute back from www.apple.com but haven't mtr.

Am using the supplied /etc/apt/sources.list but can't stat (see attached 
aptfail.txt). Also, files written to /root/ are gone on reboot (gotta 
love the #fastreboot tho!)

Just want a better editor! Then pine i guess & start posting from there..
