A little more complicated I'm afaid. GNU/Hurd needs a special filesystem
which will support translators. At the moment a modified ext2 is used,
_not_ 63 as in cfdisk. mke2fs -o hurd /dev/???

If you are masochistical enough you might try installing GNUmach and hurd
fron debian sid into such a partition and booting it with GRUB. Warning,
the boot paramiters are very complicated and I would suggest using the
GRUB floppy or iso from the Copyleft site (helpful links). I have not
tried this and at the best it will boot and complain. Much better to use
the first K9 CD from gnuab.org

I am the only ome mad enough to do this.
