For the next release (Breezy Badger) all you'll do is indert the new CD,
you will be presented with an upgrade dialog.

For Warty -> Hoary, all you do is insert the CD, tell the package
manager that it's present (use Synaptic for a GUI method), then do a
dist-upgrade ("apt-get dist-upgrade") or again, use the GUI.

Rebooting from the CD and doing an install that way (new disk
partitioning and all) is "wrong" - although arguably that process should
detect what you're doing, and hint gently at the alternatives :-)
