Hey Tim, you're most welcome.

It was an extremely informative evening. Thanks so much for that, and
for the further links you have now posted. Job very well done.

It's a pity more people weren't there to share in it, but our attendance
was up 66% on the first meeting, and we managed to pay for the hall this
time.

It was an instructive session, in extra ways to the main fare you
provided us with. The passive mode of the audience was a lot like CLUG,
and two clear focii emerged through absence of alternatives (specific
'project' suggestions may yet resurface, one day not too soon):

a) demand for ongoing newbie-level instruction is strong.

b) the environment for this will predominantly be the command line.

It was good to see Chris Sawtell there, and suitably impressed by point
b. So the format in future will be CLI, CLI, CLI, unless there are any
objections. That is what will be on the screen(s), when next we meet.

Lance Blackler has agreed to show us what he likes about Debian-based
Mepis, in the second half of the evening of Thurs 7 April, so that will
be adding variety too.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Cheers,
Rik
