[DISIG-cabal] Fwd: Re: OWASP Training Day - Interest in hosting a Dunedin date?

I believe Chris has contacts at Signal; and he might be able to contribute a practical training session if we're lucky.
Brendan might also be interested in delivering something as well?
They don't seem to be looking at talks, so much as actual training sessions.

Anyway; OWASP will promote the event, we can help by finding a few more local outlets.
Then, we should re-start ISIG on the normal date *following* this OWASP Training Day ...

What venue should we use? I'm wondering is shaking things up a little might be good, I haven't seen Signal but it might be good to try them for a while.

Resources will probably be easy enough; the University & Polytech have decent services, there are a couple of other educational institutes as well, and also private event spaces like the offices I'm in at the moment. We'd need an understanding of numbers to make a firm booking though.
