OneRNG not working after reinstalling onerng_3.6-1_all.deb

I have tried to follow-up the suggestion about looking at the archives to find out how to use OneRNG without the software, but without success. I'm not sure what I should be searching for, and simply scrolling through the pages that list the various threads has not proved useful.
