Mark,

I booted mint 19.1 live, installed the dependencies and onerng_3.6-1_all.deb. My onerng didn't work upon inserting and it seems modem manager is causing issues:

I have no use for modem manager and is known to conflict with OneRNG, so I uninstalled it and my OneRNG device does work (cat /dev/random >/dev/null causes LED dimming, etc.) However, I still get weird errors when the device is brought up:

systemd-udevd[11215]: Process '/sbin/onerng.sh 2-2' failed with exit code 1.
upowerd[2043]: unhandled action 'bind' on /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb2/2-2/2-2:1.1
upowerd[2043]: unhandled action 'bind' on /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb2/2-2/2-2:1.0
upowerd[2043]: unhandled action 'bind' on /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb2/2-2
OneRNG: firmware verification passed OK - version=3

I'm not sure why, "systemd-udevd[11215]: Process '/sbin/onerng.sh 2-2' failed with exit code 1" and I have no experience with upowerd but maybe someone else can chime in.
