but I have to warn you we're going to release a second mechanism for verifying 
your rom load - programming the board erases a secret key put there during 
manufacturing which you can't put back (that's what's in that validate.c we 
had issues with) - since what we're trying to guard against is 3rd parties 
altering your firmware before you get it this shouldn't be an issue because 
you programmed the device yourself after you received it

I think we're going to deal with the heat issue first, we'll start by 
converting the stock we currently have for store sales so we can offer 
exchanges to existing users who are worried by the heat - might be a few weeks 
I'm afraid before we can open up to further sales
